## Required discipline

- Preserve each observation's source boundary and clock.
- Test evidentiary independence, including shared lineage and overlapping windows.
- Treat directional alignment as a bounded hypothesis, not proof of causation.
- State what would confirm the thesis and what would falsify it.
- Keep operator portfolio actions separate from external market evidence.
